BEGINNER CLASSES with

Bridge classes
for novices.
If you have been thinking of learning bridge and “haven’t quite got
round to it”, then this is your opportunity.
If you have learnt before but stopped for some reason, now is the chance
to start over. If you just need to
reassure yourself that you know the basics, you are welcome too. Don’t
worry about coming on your own. There are no strangers at bridge – just
friends you haven’t met yet. Initially
you do not need a partner and I can help with that at the end of the
class. I like to teach in a relaxed
and friendly atmosphere. Bridge is
still a pastime to be enjoyed and savoured.
Once learnt, it will give you much more than your original
investment. At the end of the six
lessons, there will be “Help with Play” for several weeks before integration
into the main game. Bookings
essential. The
lessons are of six weeks duration and cost $95 which includes the award
winning text by Audrey Grant, “Bridge Basics 1 – An Introduction”. If you have to miss a lesson for any
reason, you will find the text easy to follow and understand. There is free parking at both venues. I
welcome your enquiries. First advancing class as above. Yes, we all know how to open with preemptive
bids, but what do we respond with a variety of hands? This lesson will remove any doubts. $12 per lesson with generous notes.
